It is not my job to check submissions for accuracy, however I did so today.

I was quite disappointed.

Out of 23 submissions only 8 were ready to be submitted without additional information or work done. Thus, in this newsletter, I'm going to give you a quick rundown of what we need.

In order to submit:
Submit the piece to your gallery, including in the description that you are giving us permission to post it.

We do not accept "permission in journal"

Be sure to mark mature when necessary.

Be sure to submit to the digital art > Photomanipulations gallery or we will not accept it.

Alway cite your stock sources (e.g.- *LongStock, sxc.hu, my own photographs)

Send a note to *Manipulators

Entitle said note "Submission"

In the body of the note fill out this form:

Old:
New:

Inform us if it must be marked mature.

Be sure old links to the piece in our gallery you submitted last. The best way to get this link is to keep it when you see it uploaded, bookmark it or some way remember it.

If you have no old piece, say "This is my first submission" but know if you lie, we will catch you on it. We submit using your deviant name as the title and deviantart does not allow multiple pieces with the same title in one gallery.

Be sure you're watching the account before you submit! Otherwise you're not a member.
